Return Policy
Blackhawk Integrations is committed to handling returns in a clear and professional manner. The specific return terms for any order will be defined in your Blackhawk proposal and contract documents, but the guidelines below reflect our standard approach to product-only returns and advance replacements.
Return Materials Authorization (RMA)
A Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns.
Once issued, an RMA number is typically valid for a limited period, and products must be shipped back within that timeframe.
The RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the shipping carton, not on the original manufacturer packaging.
Eligibility and condition of returns
New product may be eligible for return within a defined period from the date of purchase, provided the equipment and packaging are in like new condition and all accessories and documentation are included.
Like new means the product is undamaged, in original packaging, and includes all parts, documentation, and accessories that were originally supplied.
Certain items, such as special orders, custom built equipment, and software licenses, may not be returnable.
Returns may be subject to a restocking fee as specified in your agreement.
Shipping and packaging
All shipping costs to return items to Blackhawk (or to the designated facility) are typically the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Products must be packed in a proper shipping carton, insured, and sent using a method that provides tracking and delivery confirmation.
The tracking number should be provided to Blackhawk so that the return can be monitored and processed.
Do not write on or affix labels directly to the original manufacturer packaging. Use an outer shipping carton for all labels and markings.
Non-refundable and non-returnable situations
No refunds, exchanges, or credits are issued after the stated return window has expired; after that period, products may only be handled under the applicable manufacturer warranty for repair or replacement.
Returns will not be accepted, and no refund or replacement will be provided if equipment is damaged by misuse, incorrect power, reverse polarity, power surge, or environmental events such as lightning, flooding, or storm damage.
Product may be rejected and returned to the customer if it is missing components, is not in the required condition, is shipped without a valid RMA number, or if the condition is misrepresented.
Warranty and replacements
If a returned product is found to be fully functional or does not meet the return criteria, the RMA may be cancelled and the product returned to the customer.
In cases where original equipment is discontinued or unavailable within a reasonable time, Blackhawk may offer comparable alternative equipment as a replacement, subject to customer and manufacturer terms.
For product-only shipments (equipment not installed by Blackhawk), returns and warranty service may be handled under the manufacturer’s warranty. Blackhawk can assist with the RMA process, but warranty decisions, repairs, and exchanges are governed by the manufacturer.
